    I remember one of my coworkers at PetSmart Charities using a similar image to explain to our boss on the corporate PetSmart side how social media worked. As a nonprofit, we felt we had a much better understanding of our quirky, pet-loving audience--and the freedom to test more risky campaigns like #meowOUT yourself for closeted cat lovers. Any advice on how to explain social media up the chain in a less tongue-in-cheek way?
