GA4 and Predictive Analytics

This article, written this summer by Steve Ganem (2020), indicates where the new Google Analytics GA4 is headed: Predictive audiences. This article outlines how they can help you to better understand your existing audience (both in terms of likelihood to purchase and churn). It currently will help you understand the very best lifetime value customers. The next stage is to build predictive audiences based on what these models are telling you.

Of course, this will benefit Google, as they will sell more ads in their search as well as display ads. I will be interested to hear your thoughts.
